Louis Vogelpoel

It's hard to say very much about this man without resorting to superlatives and embarrassing him terribly.  He is an encyclopedia of orchid knowledge spanning decades. When ever I need help in finding a location for an orchid, he always has some ready answers.  The only problem he seems to have is that there are only 24 hours in a day and he always seems to have about 30 hours worth of work to accomplish every day.  During my last visit, he called me just hours before my return flight and said that a friend of his had just brought him some plants and asked me if I would like to come over and see them.  The following slides were shot from that visit.  I am showing them as large photos just because they are so beautiful.  Hopefully, you will bear with the download time.
